''Swaragini — Jodein Rishton Ke Sur'' (English: ''Swaragini- Let's Join The Melody Of Relationships'') commonly abbreviated as ''Swaragini'' is an Indian television series, which premiered on 2 March 2015 and airs Monday through Friday evenings on Colors TV. The show is produced by Rashmi Sharma. The name is a combination of the two names of the sisters: ''Swara'' and ''Ragini''. ==Plot summary== The story revolves around the lives of two families living in Kolkata, one being a Marwari family and other being a Bengali family. Swara is a modern, open minded, enthusiastic and an emotional girl who belongs to the Bengali family. On the other hand, Ragini is a shy, reserved and a traditional girl who hails from the Marwari family. Although neighbours, both the families are long term foes. One day Swara meets a modern, yet bad mannered young boy, Laksh, who hails from the rich Maheshwari family who was supposed to be Ragini's fiance. They become enemies the day they meet. Swara soon learns that Shekhar, Ragini's father, is also her father, but because of certain circumstances, were separated. Swara & Ragini take an oath that they would do anything to reunite their family. Later, Laksh joins them too in reuniting Shekhar and Sharmishtha. All three of them finally succeed. Laksh gradually falls in love with Swara without realising it, while Ragini also loves Laksh deeply. Sanskaar, cousin of Laksh, who had been away from his family for five long years, returns to take revenge for the death of his lover, Kavita, who was allegedly murdered by some goons(Sanskaar believes they were send by Durga Prasad because Kavita was a Bengali and he was not allowed to marry her). Although he acts like a mentally-dis balanced person, he wants to destroy the Maheshwari family. Laksh declares to Swara and Sharmishtha that he loves Swara unconditionally. Later Swara also falls in love with Laksh. It is revealed that Ragini and Sanskaar are together in their evil plans to separate Swara and Laksh. Soon, Dida gets to know about Ragini's evil truth but falls from the stairs and enters into coma. Then the marriage celebrations of Laksh and Swara begin, in which Ragini creates trouble with the help of Sanskaar and Sujata. Meanwhile, Sanskaar starts to feel guilty and sorry for Swara. Ragini, each and every time, tries to develop hatred for Swara in Laksh's heart, but fails. Later, Swara learns that Sanskaar is not mad and is plotting against the Maheshwari family. Swara makes Sanskaar realise his mistake and forgives him on the basis that he mends his ways. Sanskaar tries to make Ragini realise her mistake. She pretends to realise, but on the wedding day Ragini tries to kill Swara by pushing her into a river. Eventually Ragini's plotting succeeds and she gets married to Laksh. Sharmishtha and Shekhar decide to stay separate from each other. But Swara is saved and decided to expose Ragini with the help of Sanskaar by pretending to be married to him. She also does so to reunite her parents. Ragini is planning and plotting against Swara and Sanskaar to secure her position in the Maheshwari mansion and especially to win Laksh's heart by trying to prove that Swara and Sanskaar are faking their marriage. Ragini always seems insecure about losing Laksh and Swara's mission seems only to unite her parents. This brings intense situations between the family members who don't accept Swara, especially Sanskaar's mom. The brothers, Laksh and Sanskaar, question each other's wives' morals. While helping Swara, Sanskaar falls for her. Then Ragini plays a trick with Dadi Maa and makes Swara and Sanskaar leave the Maheshwari family. But they make a tent outside and live there with the help of Durga Prasad. Ragini exposes the fake marriage of SwaSan along with Sujata by making their tent fall and showing their separate bed to Laksh. Sanskar loses patience, comes home drunk and shows all the proofs of Swara's innocence to the family and confesses his love to Swara which later makes her angry. But the family and Laksh refuse to believe him and stand by Ragini. Ragini, to divert the attention from herself, makes a false molestation accusation on Sanskar who's then proved innocent by Swara. She also brings out the truth of Adarsh's affair but also saves him, which gives good impression to all, disappointing Ragini. Ragini makes Swara get married in real in a pooja festival by brainwashing Laksh. Later, he is kidnapped by Sanskaar to scare Ragini to tell the truth, who, in turn, kidnaps Sharmishtha to blackmail Swara to get married to Sanskaar. Swara tells the truth to Laksh, who doesn't believe her and later meets an accident whereby he falls in a river. On the next day, when Laksh opens his eyes, he finds himself in a hospital and asks for the doctor's mobile phone. He has forgotten all the numbers but remembers his landline number. He calls his landline number and Ragini picks up the call. He tells her to stop the marriage. Ragini gets scared and forces Swara and Sanskaar into the marriage. Laksh reaches the marriage venue and gets heartbroken to see Swara and Sanskaar married.Swara and Laksh look at each other and recall their happy moments. He doubts Ragini for not stopping the marriage and asks sanskaar and swara to help him expose Ragini. Swara, Laksh and Sanskaar make a plan. When Laksh does not return home, Ragini reaches the farmhouse to find him but as planned sanskaar acts to kill Laksh in front of Ragini and seeing him die, Ragini accepts her mistake. Now Laksh gets up and is very angry. He calls Ragini & Swara's families to his house and exposes Ragini's truth. Now everyone is very angry with Ragini and Durgaprasad announces the divorce of Laksh and Ragini. Even Swara and sanskaar are told to get divorced but afterwards the family members think that they shoud give their relationship a second chance. In the other place Sanskaar who loves Swara is told by Laksh that he yet loves Swara and wants her in his life. The next day Sanskaar helps Laksh to meet Swara and Laksh confesses his love to Swara. Ragini to gets to know about it. Soon Ragini gets to a plan and when Swara tries to comfort Ragini she holds the wire which had electric current and hurts herself. Swara and all are shocked but when Ragini wakes up she acts like she has lost her memory.
